Did someone say SURPRISE!!!

Todd has been a part of each one of my tasks that I have checked off the list but this latest one I had to do on my own. Throwing a surprise party for the person you live with is not an easy task. I knew when I put my list together that I was going to throw the surprise party for Todd. I am not able to keep a secret from him but this time I did it! Since the party was for Todd he can tell what happened. Till next time-Super Secret Keeper

Ok... my wife did it. I will say, by yesterday morning I had an inkling that something was up. But planning this for a couple months and keeping it a secret from me is shocking. I am now worried that she can REALLY keep secrets. Wonder what the next one will be???? UGH! So, this weekend I wasn't feeling 100%... and it freaked Char out a bit... so I knew something was in the cards.... just didn't know what.

So, I went out with my friend Mike. Then drove home and in my house was a random mix of all my friends. Not only was it a surprise party... but my wonderful wife also made it a "theme surprise party"- Happy18x2 Birthday Party. Cracked me up! Since I am now am old. That Char is creative, huh?!?

Thanks to everyone who came by.... helped with the party, shared my bithday with the me, had some of the wonderful Mexican food... and most importantly... did NOT sing Happy Birthday to me (I hate that song!). The one thing that would be nice is if they'd come back today to help clean up our house. Unfortunately, that will likely fall on my shoulders. But, my wife did sooooooo much planning without my help, it is the least I can do.
